The Tabernacle of God

You cannot mimic men and be successful in the Kingdom agenda!

Following men will make you complacent and content in your knowledge of Jesus!

Psalms 118:8  It is better to trust in the Lord than to put confidence in man.

We should never be content in our knowledge of Him! We should find our contentment in Him but never quit wanting to know more about him!

Ephesians 3:

17 That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love,

18 May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height;

19 And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God.

20 Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us,

21 Unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen.

I want the fullness of God in me. It can only come by the knowledge of Jesus! I can only get the knowledge of Jesus by his love that abides in me by the Holy Spirit!

Where is the Tabernacle of God?

2 Corinthians 6:16

16 And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.

Understanding how to glorify the Father

One thing that I have come to understand in the last year or so is that God not only loves us and gave his Son Jesus for us but we have been in his favor since our conception.

Remember Jeremiah 1:5 (KJV)

Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.

Isaiah 49:15 (KJV)

15 Can a woman forget her sucking child, that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb? yea, they may forget, yet will I not forget thee.

Isaiah 44:24 (KJV)

24 Thus saith the Lord, thy redeemer, and he that formed thee from the womb, I am the Lord that maketh all things; that stretcheth forth the heavens alone; that spreadeth abroad the earth by myself;

From the womb we have had God’s favor on us, we many times were not informed of God and who he is and how much he truly cares for us!  Many have been neglected of this wonderful truth and have walked their whole lives thinking God is mad at them and they have to do some kind of works to stay in his favor!

There is no work you can do enough to stay in Gods favor! You cannot tithe or attend church enough to stay in his favor! If this were so, even the lost could do this and through their works enter into the Kingdom!

We are already in his favor! He loves us enough to give Jesus for us! To redeem us from our sins! To become sin for us so we can become the righteousness of God in his Son Jesus!

We have to come to realize that we are in his favor and give him honor as we should! This is how we give glory to God, by honoring his Son!

Kiss the Son

I think every scholar and bible student I know of will say the 2nd Psalm is a prophesy of Jesus!

Psalms 2

12 Kiss the Son, lest he be angry, and ye perish from the way, when his wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed are all they that put their trust in him.

What does it mean to “kiss the son”? In the days of the Kings, when a noble or king was presented to you, it was honorable of you to bow and kiss his hand, ring, etc. This was an act of showing their importance and rulership over you!

A son had the same honor as the father among his people and if you neglected the son you could and would in most cases be punished severely for it.

When Jesus is presented to people, they really should “kiss the Son” We should recognize him as the only begotten of the father.

We should live our lives in a way that we show honor to him even as those who would bow before mighty men and nobles to kiss their hands or rings.

Jesus really is “the King”, he has been given this position by the Father! We should honor him as one!

We honor the Father when we “kiss the Son”. By doing so, we invite the Holy Spirit to take up residence in us!  He becomes our guide and the one who gives us revelation of the truth of who Jesus is!

Where is the Tabernacle of God?

2 Corinthians 6:16

16 And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.

The Tabernacle of God in the Earth

God does not tabernacle in buildings made by mens hands but in his creation. We are the tabernacle of God! We are the church!

I hear folks all the time speaking about going to church to meet God! Please, stop!  God doesn’t “show up and show out” at church!

You do not go to a church to meet God, you are the church with the Spirit of the living God within you if you have come to Jesus and put your trust him!

You do not go to church to learn about Jesus. You are given revelation by the Holy Spirit if He abides in you! You read his word and allow him to sanctify you and cleanse you by him word!

90% + of the folks in the USA go to church only to keep a clear conscience. They are still living under the law!

The law cannot save you and cleanse you. It will bring you into bondage just like the children of Israel was! The law does not bring revelation, it brings condemnation!

The Spirit will set you free, and liberate you from all this errant stuff! The forgiveness of your sins will give you a clear conscience in the presence of our Father God!

Knowing that Jesus has set us free by becoming sin for us, sets us free from the guilt and shame of the law!

Folks are seeking God in all the wrong places! Worldly churches, programs, conferences, concerts, etc.  If you are seeking a more intimate relationship with the Father, learn to “kiss the Son”.

God is a spirit and those who worship him must worship him in spirit!  God's spirit does not dwell in tabernacles made with mens hands.

At one time, God tabernacled with Adam, then in a tent, then he tabernacled in his Son Jesus, and now the Tabernacle of God is in his creation! Last of all God will tabernacle among us again, just like, "In the beginning, God, created the heavens and the earth!

Revelation 21:3  And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God.

Be Blessed my friend!
